In the fall we decided it was time to replace our front door and started looking obtaining quotes and looking at options. We were rather specific on the door and sidelight style we wanted and were surprised at how hard it was to find. A classic example of “You get what you pay for.” The Connor’ quote was higher than two others, but I received excellent quality doors, custom-painted to match. The installers, Gord and Raymond, were very skilled and professional and worked well as a team. They were replacing doors original to my 50’s era house, so some of the work was not routine. The bottom sill, for example, had to be entirely removed and rebuilt. Owner Darren Ritchie is an excellent communicator; he called and emailed promptly after my initial contact, during the quotation process, when the doors were being shipped and when installation was delayed by one day. The wait was rather long from early August until November 26, but I understand that manufacturing and supply chain delays are common under Covid conditions. I was told from the beginning that installation would not be possible until November, and I appreciate being told the truth. I plan to purchase garden doors from Connor next year.

We were quite happy with all the work Connor Windows and Doors did at our home. We had 4 windows replaced that were getting old. The owner gave a quick and fair estimate that was emailed to us in detail within 24hrs. They worked around our work schedule so we could be there for installation. The installers were extremely professional, polite and answered all our questions. The one area to install the windows was a very tight and awkward space and they handled it great. They cleaned up all their mess and were completed in about half a day.
A few weeks later we had another estimate on getting a new aluminum railing down the steps of our front door which was about 10-12 feet long. Again everything was done to our expectations and beyond. I feel you get great value for your money with Connor Windows and Doors.
We have also had them install a new patio/garden door with build in blinds about 3 years ago and all our windows on a previous house about 15 years again.
Would certainly recommend them for any of their services.

Connor Windows and Doors installed our new front door earlier this year. We were very happy with the quality and appearance of the door. Many of our neighbours have commented how nice it is.

Regarding installation, we were pleasantly surprised that our install date was about a month earlier than expected. We were given a time to expect the workers and they were at our house within a half-hour of that expected time, meaning that we didn’t have to wait around all day for their hopeful arrival.
The window installation was done well and thoroughly. All the old windows and building materials were removed. We even got new interior trim!

12’ x 14’ Three Season Sunroom on Existing Deck
Darren was very helpful, getting the building permit and finding out what needed to be changed on existing deck i.e. sono tubes were not sufficient, so metal piles had to be arranged and put in by a secondary co.
Weather was also an issue so there were a few delays re previous sites, so ours was a little late as well. Thank goodness rain finally stopped.

We contracted Connor windows to replace a 5 light by 5 light large bay window in the front room of our house. They arrived on time and had the old unit removed fairly quickly. The installers did a great job and they even cleaned the windows inside and out, which was a huge help because they are on the second floor.

I must express what a delight to deal with Connor Windows and their owners and installation persons. After I got the first 2 bay windows I liked them so much that I arranged to order 2 more and I love the windows and quality of workmanship . I had one minor problem and they refused my payment till they ordered replacement parts and absolutely followed up promptly and fixed the problem. I have absolutely no hesitation in stating they are a lovely group of people to work with and the experience exceeded all expectations.

Connor Windows and Doors did a stellar job on the work they were contracted for on our home and boathouse.
The work commenced on exactly the day they promised. The team arrived in good time daily and worked steadily for full days during the time they were with us. A pleasure to work with, great integrity and work ethic. Communication was excellent we always received replies etc. in a timely manner.
The site was kept clean and tidy at all times and they were respectful of the neighbourhood { no loud radios or unseemly shouting }.
The product is excellent and visually very appealing. The glass areas of the railing are stunning and add more to our view than we ever expected.
The screened porch was a difficult request… to be fitted between an existing “roof” and “floor”. The finished product is totally amazing, the existing structures are seamlessly incorporated. Lots of unique work to be done here and everything is perfect. Darren was so helpful helping us to achieve our vision and changing the material for the fascia mid job to improve the effect was much appreciated.
The Duradek installation was a disappointment. The team who installed it did not work for Connor Windows. We have lived with a similar product for many years and know its worth as a waterproof floor covering, it is a first rate product .The installation and the sub-floor materials were poor, the result was that the Duradek is not as smooth and level as expected, initially with many small lumps in the surface. Darren helped us reach a compromise that was acceptable to us with the contractor, the lumps were resolved and we have a 10 years warranty on labour and materials. Not what we wanted or hoped for but the best under the circumstances.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Connor Windows and Doors, would cetainly use them again ourselves.

The installers were thorough and did an excellent job of replacing really bad prior work on both doors and windows. They were professional and pleasant and inspired confidence in the work they did. After such previous bad experiences it was a pleasure to have Conners do the work as I know the results are guaranteed. This means no more drafts and heat escaping. I now have good quality glass panes for better energy savings in winter and summer.

Connor Windows was a great company to work with. Second house have used them to do windows on. Very patient and walked us through the options available, and always kept our overall budget in mind. We had some changes along the way we wanted to include after reexamining some changes to a bathroom that was happening at the same time, and subsequently had to actually change our order after some windows were already produced, and they worked with us to reconfigure them with no problem. All the cladding work turned out great, no mess, and good clean up. Our 100 year old door got replaced with all new keeping our heritage look, but new and fresh. Quality of door and windows is great.

We called a few companies in Peterborough when we were looking at replacing our doors. Only two responded and came to our home to provide us a quote. Connor was the first company that came and we went through some options and they provided us a quote. The other company came by in reasonable time but did not have many options. I received a quote from Connor the next day and they were able to do a custom colour that is exactly what we were looking for. The other company took 5 days and could not do the colour we were hoping for. We ordered the door from Connor and provided a deposit.
Connor phoned us about 5 weeks later to schedule an install date. The installer was on time when he arrived to site. I was very impressed with the gentlemen and his son that performed the install. We could not believe how clean and organized they were. We had a few questions which they answered.

I got a quote from three different companies. Connor was the only company that showed up when they had scheduled the visit. They were also the only company that got us a quote in a reasonable time. We went to their showroom which had lots of displays of what we were looking for and made a deal with the salesman. They gave us a date they said they would call us to schedule an install in which they did. The installers were very polite and did a great job.
